E-Health Foundation Bulgaria with the support of the Ministry of State administration and administrative reform, State Agency for ICT and European Commission was organizing National Conference “Connectivity in Healthcare System. Building of ICT infrastructure. Improvement of care for patient through optimized access of personal data. Improvement of prophylaxis and prevention through ICT sector. Telemedicine. Security.”, which was lead in hotel Sheraton, Sofia, Bulgaria on June 17th, 2008.
At the conference were participate top officials from The Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Bulgaria, top officials from The Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform, representatives of the Parliamentary Commission for Healthcare, representatives from State Agency for Information Technologies and Communications, representatives from National Health Insurance Fund, representatives from Bulgarian Doctors Union, representatives from hospitals, universities and many other representatives from healthcare sector in Bulgaria.
Participants have the possibility to discuss the general politics for eHealth, Telemedicine and single strategies for eHealth of Bulgaria in accordance of directions of European Commission.
There were presented the newest trends in electronic healthcare from the leading IT companies and the actual planes of official institutions relevant to eHealth.
The meeting was supported from M-Tel, Ericsson, Orbitel, Sildex, ICW, Bull Bulgaria, Kontrax and CNSYS. |
